Oregon County Sheriff - Arrest/Release

On 10/26/2026, Oregon County Sheriff's Office arrested 36-year-old Steven Starnes of Alton, MO for domestic assault. He is currently being held on a $3,000 cash or corporate surety bond.  

On 10/27/2026, Oregon County Sheriff's Office arrested 43-year-old Daniel Cooper of Willow Springs, MO on a misdemeanor driving while revoked/suspended warrant and a Texas County felony first degree property damage, misdemeanor driving while revoked/suspended and failure to maintain financial responsibility second offense.  He was released the same day on $1,500 corporate surety bond for Oregon County and $10,000 corporate surety bond for Texas County. 

On 10/28/2026, Oregon County Sheriff's Office transported 33-year-old Renee Lamb of West Plains, MO to the Oregon County Detention Center from the Howell County Detention Center where she was being held on an Oregon County warrant. Upon arrival she was booked on existing charges of a felony warrant of probation violation for forgery. She is currently being held without bond. 

On 10/30/2026, Oregon County Sheriff's Office arrested 27-year-old Damon Long of Koshkonong, MO on existing charges to serve court ordered time. He was released on 11/01/2026. 

On 11/01/2026, Oregon County Sheriff's Office released 46-year-old Amanda Ponder-Austria of Thayer, MO on existing charges for completion of court ordered time.

On 10/28/2026, Oregon County Sheriff's Office issued 27- year old Courtney Lemke of Couch, MO a citation for failure to register a motor vehicle. 

On 10/28/2026, Oregon County Sheriff's Office issued 32-year-old Christopher Henry of West Plains, MO a citation for failure to register a motor vehicle. 

On 10/30/2026, Oregon County Sheriff's Office issued 46-year-old Nakoma Wheeler of Thayer, MO a citation for failure to register a motor vehicle.
